![]() ![]() ![]() My goal was *not* to lose weight ( as I mentioned back in July), but my goal was to feel healthier, have more energy, and be strong… and I am well on my way to that. Well, I said it above, but it bears mentioning again… I feel amazing. Here’s what a weekly protocol usually looks like: image via Burn Bootcamp So, how do I feel since starting Burn Boot Camp? They really are so unique, fun, challenging, and NEVER boring. On Sundays, they release the weekly “protocol” and it has an outline of what you can expect in camp that week. Like I mentioned previously, each workout is different. It is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced ANYWHERE.ģ. I love this time to ask questions in a safe, judgement-free zone, and get real, tangible advice on how I can improve, grow, and see results. They take your measurements, discuss nutrition, and really help you set and reach your goals. Part of your membership includes focus meetings… and what these are are one-on-one time with the trainer(s). If I miss a camp, I get messages and texts from women going, “WHERE WERE YOU?!” Also, we have a private Facebook group where we can encourage each other, share healthy recipes, etc. I love seeing familiar faces at camps and I look forward to seeing them every day. These women cheer me on, we encourage each other, we celebrate our successes, we hold each other accountable, we laugh, we have fun… it truly is AMAZING. I have made some amazing friends at Burn Boot Camp. Honestly, this is from my experience, but what makes it different for me is a couple of things:ġ. What makes Burn Boot Camp different than other gyms or workouts? My husband comes with me on Saturday mornings and he says it’s the best workout of his week… and he is someone who has worked out consistently, multiple days a week, for nearly 20 years.Īlso, Burn Boot Camp has FREE CHILDCARE!!!! This is KEY, y’all. Also, Saturday morning camps typically have a women only camp and a co-ed camp. No! BUT, Burn Boot Camp was “designed” for women initially… Burn locations are women-only for the morning camps (times differ at each location), but the evening camps are co-ed. It’s NEVER boring – the workouts go so fast and sometimes I feel like I blink and the workout is done. I’ve honestly never done anything like Burn Boot Camp in my life. There’s a strong focus on a mix of cardio and strength training. While you might do the same exercise you’ve done before in a particular camp, the entire workout will be different. ![]() What do Burn Boot Camp workouts “look” like?Īgain, every camp is different. It follows a standard format of a 5 minute warmup (which is different every camp), a 25-30 minute workout (which is different every camp – NO TWO WORKOUTS ARE EVER THE SAME), and a “finisher” which is a 3-5 minute exercise (or exercises) that are designed to really push you out of your comfort zone and get the most results. Each class is 45 minutes and they focus on really maximizing your time there. I even work out when I am traveling now… WHO AM I?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?īurn Boot Camp is a high-intensity workout. I get legitimately upset if I can’t go to a camp on a particular day. That’s not to say that I haven’t been in better shape before (I have) and that’s not to say that I’m in the best shape of my life (I’m not) and that’s also not to say that I don’t have a long ways to go (I do)… but what I mean is, for the first time in my life, I look forward to working out. In 32 years, I’ve never felt stronger, healthier, and happier than I do right now. I think the promotion ends August 31st so hurry and check it out!)
