![]() They offered us a nice bottle of white wine for consolation and it worked a little. Yes, you read that right! However, our luck was down that day because it was raining and they cannot set it up in the rain. We knew we wanted something else special but didn’t know what it was until we saw they have an adult bouncy house. We knew we wanted a hot tub and they have an outdoor hot tub, which was glorious. We chose this resort because of location and the things it offers it’s guests. It had everything we needed for making dinner and pretty much anything else we needed, it was fully stocked. We used the small table and chairs to set up her cake and present area and it worked perfectly. We only used the bunk beds and queen bed and they were so cozy and comfortable! It’s one very large room with the living room and kitchen separated by a heavy curtain if you’d like. The room was spotless clean and very eclectic and yet modern. The Aztec cabin has a queen size bed with a set of bunk beds and a pull out sofa. You couldn’t tell though, it was very quiet and serene. And you would think it would’ve been a little slow there, nope, they were packed out. We wanted to do something special for our lovely bride and knew she only had limited time away so we just booked 1 night. We booked cabin 3, The Aztec cabin for a bridal shower and slumber party for 4 best friends. Everyone in Colorado is very friendly and a little slower than we are used to! The check-in process was funny because we were in such a hurry to get to our room and set it up for the surprise shower and the host was SO friendly and talkative that it took longer than we we’re expecting. But I cannot help myself to review them because we had such a good time and would love to go back some day! But hang on, because this might get long…but well worth the read! We miss it already and have begun planning our next stay.I’m sure this mountain resort doesn’t need my good review as they have so many 5 star reviews as it is, they are booked so far in advance. I will continue to bring my family back to Pine Haven to make even more wonderful memories. Give Pine Haven Resort your first consideration as I am very thankful my wife found them back in November. Asked if he could do anything else for us to further enhance our stay. George took the time to give me a call while he was away from the resort to let me know how much he appreciated our staying with him. Every detail was beautifully thought out. The outdoor hot tub was ready for us when we arrived, the accommodations were beautifully decorated with many Christmas decorations. My teenagers had plenty of space for themselves. It was! The Lodge is huge and perfect for families. It was outstanding! George's family greeted us to ensure everything was perfect for our arrival. We stayed in The Lodge which holds 16 people. We brought teenage children with us this time and once again, George and Joan pulled out all the stops for our vacation. My wife and I liked the Innkeepers and the resort so well that we made a plan to stay again over the New Year's holiday. We did! Families of deer and elk were discovered in their natural settings. His best piece of advice was to take my family on a mountain hike (located just behind our cabin) up to Old Man Mountain. George provided excellent advice for sites in Estes. They treat you like family from the moment you arrive. We stayed two days and an extra day due to the warmth and kindness of Pine Haven's innkeepers George and Joan. And it was! Located against the wooded mountainside in beautiful Estes Park on Fall River, we were surprised at the charming setting of Pine Haven. My wife, infant son and I stayed at the resort in November in cabin#7 and found it to be quaint, clean and just what we hoped it would be. The owners are super nice and accommodating. There is a tough but rewarding hike straight up hill from PH that runs into RNMP. My 18 and 21 year olds loved playing shuffle board and tether ball. The property sits right on fall creek which lulls you to sleep every night. ![]() It's small, but all appliances are present with the exception of a dishwasher. There are 2 full bathrooms and hot water never seemed to be an issue. ![]() There are also 2 pullout couches and a futon in the sunroom. It had 2 queen bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms. There are 12 cabins with the "Lodge" being the largest. ![]() (We hadn't realized that so many places were already booked due to the 100 year anniversary of Estes Park and our stay was during the Rooftop Rodeo) Pine Haven is a resort-type property. After much searching we found Pine Haven. We started to look for accommodations in September. We knew we wanted to stay in Estes Park on those dates close to RMNP. Three generations, ages 18-64 visited Estes Park and stayed at Pine Haven July 5-9. ![]()
